From our families
Her daughter looks forward to the class all week and comes out having had an hour of genuine fun.
KanikaDescribes VIBE as more of a family than a studio, with a focus on becoming your best self.
NitishaPraises the enthusiasm of the instructors and the room it gives kids to be creative.
KomalWhere we teach
Featherbrook in Point Cook runs Tuesday to Saturday. Lighthouse Studios in Ravenhall runs Monday evenings.
Classes are small on purpose. Send an enquiry and we'll tell you what's available in your age group.
Weekly timetable
Every class runs for one hour, weekly through the term. Tap a class to add it to your enrolment.
Fees
Per session. A full 10-week term is $300 — and if you join partway through, you only pay for the classes left.
Per session, so $330 across a full term. The intermediate class carries a slightly higher rate than the rest.
Per session for the 45-minute class, $200 a full term. Private lessons are $50 solo and $90 for couples, per class.
Refer a friend, get 10% off. Recommend VIBE to someone and you'll get 10% off your fees when they enrol, pay in full and mention your name at booking. It applies to every class we run, including Bollyburn. The discount applies to the following term only — it isn't ongoing, and it isn't transferable.
Group and corporate choreography is quoted individually because it depends on numbers, song length and how many rehearsals you want. Get in touch and we'll come back with a figure.
Classes are capped. Each group has a maximum number of places so everyone gets individual attention. Once a class is full it closes automatically and offers a waitlist instead — you'll be contacted in order as spots open, before they're advertised again.
Two routines per term. Every student learns two routines across the term and gets the chance to record video at the end of it — the footage goes out on our socials, which is a stage in its own right.
Something different
Bollywood dance fitness for adults — 45 minutes of the movement you'd learn in class, run at a pace that leaves you sweating. No routine to remember, no experience needed.
It runs at the same time as the Tuesday Juniors class, so you can train while they do.
No routine to memorise. Turn up when you can, work hard for 45 minutes, go home. Beginners are the norm rather than the exception.
Book a place
The fine print
Term fees are due on the last class of the previous term. That stops us overbooking and holds your place for the term ahead. Enrolment is confirmed once the fee is paid in full.
Fees are worked out per session, so if you start in week four you pay for the sessions left, not the whole term.
Classes run on Victorian government school terms — from the Monday of the week school goes back, through to the Saturday of the final week. No classes during school holidays, and none on public holidays; if a public holiday falls in a week, the other classes that week are cancelled too so every group stays in step.
The term fee acts as your registration, so a missed week doesn't cost you your spot in the class.
There are no refunds for missed classes, but we'll do our best to sort you a make-up session — up to two per term, or one a month if you're away often. Message us and we'll find a class with room.
Twenty-four hours' notice where you can. If you already know about holidays or dates away, tell us at the start of term and we'll plan around them.
We commit to costs based on confirmed enrolments. If you leave partway through a term, or book a holiday after committing, fees aren't refunded.
A successful referral earns you 10% off your fees for the following term. Referral discounts, scholarships and vouchers apply to that one term only — they're not a lifetime offer.
We're closed on public holidays, long weekends and school holidays. If a class is cancelled you'll get 24 hours' notice where possible, and a make-up option.
These are the highlights. The full Terms & Conditions cover student guidelines, parent responsibilities and the Bollyburn session rules.

Coming up
Looking back
A year at VIBE is more than weekly classes.
The founder
“What started in a garage is today a full blown dance community.”
Founder & Creative Director
Alpana Chauhan-Virani is the Founder and Creative Director of VIBE Choreography — a dancer, choreographer and instructor known for her bold, high-energy style and expressive approach to movement. With a passion for Bollywood fusion, Hip-Hop and Jazz Funk, her choreography is all about confidence, attitude, musicality and performance.
Since founding VIBE in 2020, she has built it into a thriving dance community where dancers of all ages are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, find their individuality and own the stage. It started as special-event choreography — weddings, engagements, family functions — and grew into a school teaching children from three and a half through to teens, plus ladies-only classes for young adults and adults.
For Alpana, dance is more than choreography. It is about confidence, connection and creating a space where people truly feel alive.
"At VIBE we don't just teach — we inspire."
Our vision is to be Melbourne's preferred dance school for kids and adults alike. Our mission is to introduce creative dance styles and get young people genuinely hooked on dancing.
Come and meet usWe build confidence in kids through more than stage time — workshop-style filming, small groups, and a room where getting it wrong is part of it.
We record student performances and put them out on our channels. For a lot of kids that reach means more than a single concert night.
Our older students step up as mentors and ambassadors for the younger groups. Leadership is part of the training, not a side effect.
Who teaches you
Five instructors, and between them Bollywood fusion, hip-hop, house, waacking, krump, popping and locking, bhangra, jazz funk, lyrical, contemporary, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Indian folk, belly dance, Afro fusion and Zumba.
The next generation
Our Student Trainee Instructors and Class Assistants are home-grown VIBE dancers who have been part of our community for several years. What began as a mentorship pathway to build confidence, responsibility and leadership has grown into an opportunity for selected students to take their first steps into the professional world, with many receiving their very first job at VIBE.
Working alongside our experienced instructors, they learn the foundations of teaching, choreography and class management, with some progressing to independently lead an entire class of their own. We're incredibly proud to watch our students grow from dancers, to mentors, to class assistants and now the next generation of VIBE instructors.
New students
Send an enquiry and we'll confirm what's open in your age group, then you can enrol for the term.
Tell us the dancer's age and which class suits your week. We'll come back with what's available.
We'll place the dancer in the right group by age and experience, and confirm the start date.
You're charged per session for the classes left in the term, so joining midway costs less. Then you're in until the term ends.
What to wear. Comfortable clothes you can move in, hair tied back, and a water bottle. Sneakers are ideal. Nothing specialised is needed to start.
Ladies, this includes you. Our adult classes are ladies only — young adults and women of any age — and all three batches take complete beginners every term. If you've never danced a step, that's the most common starting point here.
Know someone who'd love it? Refer a friend and you'll get 10% off your fees for the following term once they enrol and pay in full — just make sure they mention your name when they book. Applies to every class, for that term only.
If you miss a class, reach out. There are no refunds for missed classes, but we'll do our best to arrange a make-up session in another class with room — just message us and we'll sort it. Two make-ups per term, or one a month if you're away regularly.
Photos and videos. We film routines at the end of term and share them on our website and socials, so agreeing to photos and videos is part of enrolling. If that isn't possible for your family, please talk to us before you enrol.

Studio policy
By enrolling with VIBE Choreography you agree to the following.
Last updated September 2026
At VIBE Choreography our program is designed for your inner dancer to grow individually. We are dedicated to offering small group classes with a high standard of technique, style and performance. Through discipline, encouragement and hard work, excellence can be achieved by gradually increasing the level of dancing. To accomplish these goals, core values of integrity, respect, responsibility, character and professionalism must be maintained.
It is the philosophy of VIBE Choreography to embrace movers at all levels. Our intention is to create a structured, loving, creative environment where students are inspired to express themselves through the art of dance. We use a Bollywood routine-oriented foundation of hip hop, jazz funk, fusions and popular choreographies to create a safe, strong foundation for our students to flourish as they grow and discover their inner dancers. Dance education at VIBE goes further than the steps: students learn proper body alignment, technique, terminology and the fundamentals needed to pursue dancing.
We work in small groups, so please make every effort to attend all scheduled classes. When you miss lessons you fall behind, and it makes it harder for the group to progress. There are no refunds for missed classes, but up to two make-up lessons per term are available — please get in touch and we'll arrange one in another class with room. If you miss several lessons, you'll be eligible for one make-up lesson each month.
Please let us know at least 24 hours before an absence. Please also tell us about any planned holidays or dates you'll be away at the start of term, so we can work out the best option for you.
The studio is closed during public holidays, long weekends and school holidays. (Special school holiday programs may run for kids.) If one class falls on a long weekend, the other classes that week will not run either, so that learning stays aligned across groups. We will give 24 hours' notice of any session that needs to be rescheduled.
As a small business run by a few instructors, a session may be cancelled if an instructor is unwell. In that case an alternative make-up session will be offered, and it will count as an extra make-up lesson.
We commit to ongoing costs and overheads based on the confirmed memberships we receive. Cancelling or taking a holiday mid-term affects both our planning and your child's learning. We'd hate to see you leave, but if you choose to leave the program, or plan a holiday after committing to the term, there are no refunds.
We film and photograph classes, workshops and events, and share some of this on our website and social media. Agreeing to your dancer appearing in VIBE photos and videos is a condition of enrolment. If this isn't possible for your family — for example for safety or legal reasons — please contact us before enrolling. If you'd like a particular photo or video taken down, let us know and we'll remove it.
Refer a friend and you'll receive 10% off your fees for the following term. A referral counts when your friend enrols, pays in full, and mentions your name when booking. The discount applies to the following term only, is not transferable, and applies to all VIBE classes including Bollyburn Fitness.
By enrolling in Bollyburn Fitness you also agree to the following.
By booking a VIBE workshop you agree to the following, as well as the student guidelines above.

Your information
What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Written in plain English.

VIBE Choreography is a dance school run by Alpana Chauhan-Virani, teaching at Featherbrook Community Centre in Point Cook and Lighthouse Studios in Ravenhall. When this policy says "we", it means VIBE. Alpana is responsible for how we look after your information.
We only ask for what we need to run classes and events safely. Information about dancers under 18 is given to us by their parent or guardian; adult dancers give us their own. Depending on what you do, that can include:
Like most websites, this site uses a few services that collect basic technical details when you visit. The map and the fonts come from Google, which may record things like your IP address and browser type. We don't use advertising trackers.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a specialist payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Anything you tell us about injuries or medical needs is used only to keep your dancer safe. It's shared only with the people teaching your dancer's class, and never used for anything else.
We film routines and take photos at classes, workshops and events, and share some of them on this website and our social media. Agreeing to this is part of enrolling with VIBE and booking a workshop. If that isn't possible for your family — for example for safety or legal reasons — please talk to us before enrolling. If you'd like a particular photo or video taken down, tell us and we'll remove it.
Your details are seen by our instructors and by the services that help us run VIBE — our website host, the service that delivers our forms and emails, and Stripe, which processes payments. They only use your information to provide that service to us.
Some of these services store information outside Australia. We choose well-established providers, and they only use your information on our behalf.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We share class updates through a WhatsApp group. Please be aware that members of a WhatsApp group can see each other's phone numbers. If you'd rather not be in the group, let us know and we'll make sure you get updates another way.
While your dancer is enrolled we'll contact you about essential things — class changes, cancellations, term dates. Our monthly newsletter is optional: if you'd rather not receive it, tell us and we'll stop sending it.
We keep your details while your dancer is enrolled with us, and afterwards for as long as we reasonably need them — for example for insurance records, or in case you return. After that we delete them. Enquiries that don't lead to an enrolment are deleted once they're no longer needed.
Only the people who need your information can see it, and we store it with reputable services rather than on loose paper or personal devices where we can avoid it. If your information is ever involved in a security problem, we'll tell you as soon as we can and explain what we're doing about it.
You can ask to see what we hold about you or your dancer, correct it, or have it deleted. Just contact us using the details below.
Please contact us first — we'd like the chance to put things right. Call 0434 944 074 or email alpana24@gmail.com.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
